Ah, for the love of stone

I love taking pictures of churches... architecturally they are so beautiful, especially the older ones. Unfortunately there aren't that many that are made of stone (or more likely faced with it) like this one around here. You really have to travel to Europe to find a large number of them. While I did take a number of photos the times I went to Europe in both high school and college, my eye definately has improved since then. I might have taken rolls of pictures, but they were more to document then really capture the images artistically. I guess that just means I have to go back and take them all again... oh damn!
